Longing for the day ...

Alive and Alone is in iTunes!!

Well, it took a week, but 7 days after being sent to Tunes (according to CDBaby) here it is: https://itunes.apple.com/au/album/alive-and-alone/id1300393014

That took longer than I had hoped, but goves you some idea of the realities of preparing for a launch. Digital distribution takes time and it's not a good idea to make much fuss about the thing until it's available to people.

For the record, CDBaby advises that the album has now been sent to 30 music retail companies with another 2 "requested" (not sure what that means) - all digital, of course. I will not press CDs for this other than as a short run to sell live. No point until the major retailers care enough to promote it. Sales at gigs is all I can expect (and bugger-all of those if I don't book some gigs!!

Most of those were sent straight away, 1 (Sacker Radio) of them the following day and 2 (Youtube Content ID and Rumblefish) 4 days later. No idea aht the delays are all abot nor what the proces is. Might ask CDBaby at some stage ...

Hasn't made it to Youtube yet. I figured that would take longer because of the need to make the videos. Will update next when it arrives there ...
