Longing for the day ...

Sorry about that,

I've been a little quiet. A combination of having a skin cancer surgically removed (not as interesting as Kylie Minogue's cancer scare) and too much marking to do.

This cancer was small and not really even a BCC yet - Kylie's breast cancer is much more potentially dangerous and glamorous. It was right above the tear duct in my right eye, beside the nose. Still, it's better to have these things removed. I also had a few others removed with liquid nitrogen from my arms.

Us freckly white boys have just got to live with these things - especially in a climate like Australia. And we can be sure no-one will notice our cancers the same way they notice Kylie's or Delta Goodrem's ...
