Longing for the day ...

Apologies

Sorry for my recent absence. It's been a combination of a couple of things.

The first is my father's accident - he fell out of a tree and broke his second Lumbar vertebra. He'll been fine if he behaves for about three months but I've been up at the farm helping to thin fruit and fix things up a bit.

The other is that I've been looking a bit more urgently for a day job again. The Uni has nt yet made me an offer to teach next year, though I might apply for a scholarship and starft a PhD. There was an interesting job came up on the Q-Music website yesterday: using music to help "at-risk" youth in Brisbane. I'd love to have a crack at that. Plenty of job applications to write next year.

In other news, I'll be off to Wollongong for my old friend Franny's wedding in January. That should be fun.

Apart from that it's just Christmas, promoting Bun' Ber E Unplugged (which is going well) and getting on with life ...
