Longing for the day ...

Where am I?

OK, now that I'm back on line, I thought I'd take stock of where I'm at.

Wanted to be a lot futher advanced than I am by now, to be honest. I've recorded (to my satisaction) two first goes at my songs, and published a few lyrics. But I wanted to have the entire album recorded to releasable standard by the end of July, and that has definitely not happened. Nothing is at releasable standard, and not much has even been resonably demo-ed.

I also have not made any attempt to publicise this effort yet - because of the above failings. This amounts to a significant bummer ...

So, what's gone wrong? Well, I have struggled to spend enough time in the studio. If I was honest, I'd admit that this is because of a lack of discipline. I've had opportunities to spend a few hours each night in the studio but have found it easier to rest after puting the kids to bed and trying to sleep for as lonbg as possible before the midnight wakeup call ...

I shall have to do better ...

It's also come to my attention that my explanatory text is not clearly telling people what this site is all about ... so I shall have to rewrite it. Add that to the to-do list.
