This Dr is part of the team that saved my father's life from a malicious and malignant tumour. This incident and interview are further evidence of her composure and unassuming nature.

Possibly the greatest tribute a surgeon can be given was handed to her on Monday when one of her colleagues told me: "If I had to have that operation, that's the team I'd want to perform it."
