October 2, 2007Through to the Semis!Wow! I'm in the final 20 performers in fRETfEST. Given the competition I saw last Saturday, I'm blown away by that. They were all so good ... some amazing songs and great performances. Honoured to be in that company. This is a great boost to my performers ego and songwriters soul. But I'm not sure how I'll manage to practice this week, since I'm off to the Big Sound conference for the next three days - all day and all evening ... Also, I haven't worked up my second song properly yet. It's still a work in progress, so I'll have to get stuck into it today and for the rest of the week.
