Longing for the day ...

We're on iTunes!

Just found Bun' Ber E's debut CD, Ceilidh, in the Apple iTunes store. What a buzz!!

Awesome to see it for sale in the same space as all of my heroes! Never thought I'd see the day, and even if it doesn't sell a single thing, it's great that it's there.

Of course, you have to download the Apple iTunes software or buy an iPod to buy the songs. Also, even when I've done that, I can't buy the tunes because there's no iTunes in Australia ...

Funny, that. It's somehow absurd that music made in Australia and available in CD form in Australia and all over the world cannot be bought from an online store in Australia - especially when it can be bought by Australians from Netmusic or BuyMusic. See if you can work that one out ...

Such are the ridiculous times in which we live and create.

Incidentally, we'vbe now sold out of the hard copies and have ordered more. We've also struck a deal with Scotland-based Tradmusic.com, and with Candid Marketing, who we met at the Rathdowney Heritage Festival and who helped us sell our last remaining copies in record time.
